How to use Smart Templates effectively.

Our Smart Templates™ are exactly what the name implies. They are designed to be ingenious, sensible, and save tons of time. They are CAD engineered, CNC machined, and manufactured from high impact plastic. They will withstand repeated use and still produce the SAME reliable shapes time after time. Our templates give you a complete design pallet of shapes for automotive interiors. It’s almost limitless as
to how creative you can be with these templates as your guide, but you won’t need to reinvent the wheel every time you do those one-of-a kind installs! Our goal is to help you create more unique installations than your competition and to make better money while doing so. We give
you the tools to go out there and elevate your game.

One of the newest and cutting edge techniques is called Template Stacking. This where two templates are combined or stacked on top of each other
(with template tape) to form a new shape, for example an oval and a circle can be combined to make a woofer grill in one router pass. The only trick to this technique is you must use a 1/4” spiral up-cut bit, because it need more surface area. The 1/4” spiral has two bearings stacked, one bearing follows the bottom template and the other follows the top creating an entirely new shape. Check out the spiral bits on page 14.
