These closed cell molding foam blocks can easily be cut with a knife or hacksaw blade to add a unique shape to a panel or fabricated part. It’s much lighter and faster thin building up layers of body filler and once you have the shape, you can fi berglass over it to create a plug for subsequent parts. Use Weldwood upholstery glue (or similar) to glue several blocks together if you need bigger dimensions. This is much cleaner and predictable than pouring 2-part expanding foam and it’s cheaper too!
