6061 Aluminum is the one of the highest grades of aluminum which means is routers, polishes, and finishes with excellent results. We use this exclusively for detailed trim rings, brackets and many other applications. It’s particularly great if you need to drill/tap small sheet metal screws for a backing on something (like an amp or fuse block mount), but it is also really nice when used where it can be seen after it’s polished and finished if just utilized as a trim material. Sheet size is 24” x 48” and the thickness is 1/8”.
