This unique material is an ABS plastic core sandwiched between aluminum sheet. It’s available in 1/8” thickness and is sold in a 32” x 48” sheet. It’s particularly well suited for applications where you want the look of aluminum but without the cost. It machines very well with the table saw or router. We recommend waiting to remove the protective plastic coating until all of the trimming is completed and the finished panel is ready to go into place.
