ABS rod is tough, impact-resistant and works well for creating unique curves with the router or complex shapes for fiberglass projects. We use this in our Extreme Fabrication training as well as in the general conceptualization of lines in custom installation planning. The rods come in 5’ lengths in either 1/4” or 3/8” diameter. They bend well on their own, but you can also heat them with one of our Steinel heat guns to create permanent bends with tighter radiuses.
