This 6” buffing wheel features a loose 40 ply cotton construction with stitching around the arbor hole, but a more loose construction toward the outer edge. This makes this an ideal buffi ng wheel for fi xed buffi ng motors like the Baldor or an equivalent. We recommend using a buffi ng motor with a 1750 RPM speed. Grinder motors are generally double this speed, so pay careful attention to the speed because you can burn the acrylic edges if you apply too much pressure with a fast motor. Arbor opening on the buffi ng wheel is 5/8”.
